Sakai Spice Canada Corporation, one of Canada's premium mustard miller is a dynamic growth oriented specialty food and food ingredients processor, is currently looking for person(s) to fill the role of Packaging Worker.
The position of Packaging Worker involves filling, closing and stacking bags of oriental and yellow mustard flour, as well as record keeping, forklift operation, and varied related duties. The work can be physically demanding and subject to environmental extremes. Packaging Workers are expected to work rotating day and evening shifts, with occasional overtime. Strict adherence to the company safety and food quality programs is required of all Packaging Workers.

Some high school and physical ability to repeatedly handle bags of up to 25 kilograms for an entire work shift. Read/Write skills in English and the ability to follow directions a must. Willingness to learn and attention to detail are expected. The ideal candidate will also have some or all of the following experience/training: First Aid, WHMIS, Forklift Operation, HACCP. Previous food plant or production environment experience preferred.

This position will provide opportunity for advancement and a long term, stable work environment for the right person.
